Using its proprietary Bioinformatics platform NOKAD developed strategies to increase antigenicity of targeted proteins to induce antibodies in situation where classical strategies failed or alternatively for highly conserved proteins.
Example of an Antigenic scale presentation following modification of a non-antigenic peptide. Mutated peptide induces a neutralizing antibody response that recognize the non-modified target while native peptide was unable to induce antibody production following vaccination with the same protocol.
This strategy allows generation of antibodies for non-antigenic proteins, highly conserved proteins and also antibodies directed against endogenous proteins (mice antibodies in mice or rat antibodies in rat for example).
